Inventory Specialist

Inventory Specialist

 

As an inventory specialist, you are responsible for putting inventory away in the correct location in our warehouse. To fulfill customer orders in a timely manner, you will also pick, pack, and prepare equipment for shipment.  Additional responsibilities include performing cycle counts and physical inventories, as well as tearing down outdated equipment for scrap. 

Responsibilities: Complete all stages of order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately. Assist management in maintaining inventory levels and placing timely reorders. Pick up orders periodically from local suppliers. Maintain warehouse cleanliness. Perform additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Source new products 

- Compares the prices and quality of different products from different suppliers.

- Oversees cooperation between suppliers to manufacture one product using parts from more than one factory.

- Collaborate with different departments to accomplish new projects.

- Follow up on the receipt and approval of samples and the production of new products.

- Ensure final approval of new product shipments. 

Procurement Supervisor

 

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the organization’s purchasing activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at optimal cost, quality, and delivery standards. This role supervises procurement staff, manages supplier relationships, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and provide guidance to procurement personnel, including buyers and purchasing officers
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily procurement operations
Review, approve, and monitor purchase requisitions and purchase orders
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value
Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers
Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies, contracts, and legal requirements
Monitor budgets, expenditures, and inventory levels to support operational needs
Evaluate supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or service
Prepare procurement reports and analyze purchasing data to support management decisions
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
 

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of procurement best practices, contracts, and supplier management
Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and meet deadlines
Proficiency in procurement systems and standard office software
 

Working Conditions

Primarily office-based with regular interaction with suppliers and internal departments
May require occasional travel to supplier locations or meetings

Sourcing Manager

 

Our team is currently looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to assist with order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. This person will help us maintain our commitment to safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Responsibilities: 

- Manage supplier relationships in a professional and effective manner. Generate purchase orders and liaise with freight forwarders to plan shipment collections. Analyze purchasing and stock reports to maintain stock levels at agreed-upon company targets. Monitor supplier performance and notify the sales/production teams of anticipated delivery problems. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the new supplier process, including identification of potential new suppliers, auditing, and approval. Obtain the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. Identify manufacturing needs, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and arrange delivery. Purchase critical, complex, and/or high-dollar parts, equipment, services, and materials.
